Pre-K/Kindergarten
(Tamara Lewis, Teacher)

It's gonna be a great year in our class! This month, we'll be looking at the wonderful story of Joseph from early in the Old Testament and how God worked through even his brothers' actions against him to eventually save his entire family from famine! And let's not forget his BEAUTIFUL coat!! We will also see the return of some of our favorite furry friends to include a mouse and perhaps even a kangaroo! Won't you come along for this exciting journey?!

1st & 2nd Grades
(Jennifer Jonas, Teacher)

We'll be starting off the new year with a really good look at a little known book of the Bible: the book of Ruth. We hope to look at the main characters therein to learn a lot more about how God expects us to behave as his children here on earth. Most important, we will see how to always be sure our actions glorify God and not other people or ourselves. What a great way to start off the year!

3rd & 4th Grades
(Sandy Hilborn, Teacher)

The 3rd and 4th grade class will be very busy the first few weeks of Sunday School. We will be studying the life of David, memorizing the 23rd Psalm and working on a special study entitled 'Getting to Know your Bible'. We will be inviting the parents to compete against the class in a Bible quiz-bowl in October.. so you might want to brush up on your Bible Trivia! It's going to be great fun!

5th & 6th Grades
(Mike Christian & Karin Larsen, Teachers)

We will start out the year with Mr. Christian as we focus on the gospel of John. Using the movie released late in 2003, we will "view" some of the gospel each week and, afterwards, engage in discussions and activities which will help us to not only put it in perspective from a historical standpoint but also help to reinforce its meaning for us today. It's going to be an interesting series of sessions -- don't miss out on this great opportunity!

7th & 8th Grades
(Rich Selvaggio, Teacher)

It's going to be a busy year for us this year! We will start out with an overview-of the gospels including a historical perspective on each as well as the content and meaning to be found there. Although not very detailed in its coverage, this study will also include a comparison of the four and what information is specific to some and perhaps not to others. This could prove to be a very exciting class -- we hope you may consider sifting in on one or two with us!

High School
(Art Lange, Session Teacher)

We're starting off the year with a special session led by a special teacher! And what will our topic be to get this year started? Well, it's a surprise! That's right, Mr. Lange insisted that this was the best way to really get started -with that air of mystery! We're really looking forward to these first few weeks ... do you think we'll have Carnival Sunday off to help setup? Guess we'll have to wait and see on that one, too -here's to the element of surprise!!
