President’s Corner

July was a busy month here at All Saints. The construction project is in full swing. Things are going well and I am getting so excited about our new space and looking forward to planning some activities for our community as soon as it is finished. Everyone be thinking and let me know your ideas.  I thank everyone for being patient as we complete this project and get back to “normal” soon.

This is always a time of year that I get sad but at the same time realize that good things sometimes have to come to an end.  Matt and Erin have been such a blessing to everyone here at All Saints. We all have enjoyed so much getting to know them and watching the growth in Matt’s ministry over the last year. We have shared so much together and it has been a joy to be a part of Matt’s growth by being a sponsor of the intern program. I still may not be a Texas Rangers fan but I certainly can spot a good baseball fan when I see one – GO CARDINALS !!

Over the last few months with Pastor out of commission, Matt has taken on many more responsibilities than usually expected of an Intern and has truly shined and been our light when we needed him here at All Saints. Matt and Erin – we thank you for everything you have done to make us better servants of Christ by the example you both have set. We wish you God’s Blessings as we send you off – hopefully more prepared to be the hands and feet of Christ than when you arrived last August.  We also celebrate with you in the expansion of your family soon with the birth of “Baby Girl Titus”. We will be looking for pictures and news of the birth when she arrives.

I also want to thank the congregation for their support of the intern program. Let’s now welcome our new Intern Charlie Underwood as he joins us this month and give him the same support that we have shown to all our previous interns.

God's Peace,

Karin
